This colour was born of a meeting in Kyoto with a young girl wearing a rare, mainly pink kimono called Pinku. It evokes all the colours of spring, known as Hanami in Japan. It features the soft pink hues of cherry blossom, a vibrant symphony of greens and yellows, and multiple shades of blue to represent water and the infinite sky. This colour has the softness of a pastel while incorporating bright, fresh touches, creating a perfect harmony.
Each of our skeins is unique, although reproducible: the recipes are carefully recorded. However, there will always be differences from one bath to another. If you order several skeins of the same colour, we recommend that you alternate them as you work.
Even though most of our woollen yarns have undergone a SuperWash treatment, we recommend that you hand wash your work cold. It's perfectly normal for some colours to bleed slightly the first time, so leave to dry flat.
