This colour is inspired by the Scottish coastline of Balnakeil Bay, where many colours dance in unison. The blues of the sea range from crystalline turquoise to the deep blue of the ocean. Golden sands and ochre cliffs tinged with pink and mauve add to the palette. The moors are clothed in green moss and wild flowers in shades of violet, purple, pink and orange. This dizzying kaleidoscope will give your work a very Haute Couture tweed effect.
Each of our skeins is unique, although reproducible: the recipes are carefully recorded. However, there will always be differences from one bath to another. If you order several skeins of the same colour, we recommend that you alternate them as you work.
Even though most of our woollen yarns have undergone a SuperWash treatment, we recommend that you hand wash your work cold. It's perfectly normal for some colours to bleed slightly the first time, so leave to dry flat.
