I found my inspiration on the quays of Venice one morning in May. I was struck by the moving green of the mosses climbing the steps, the purple, brown and violet reflections of the lagoon, and the pink ochre of the houses. It was a magnificent contrast between liveliness and softness that guided my choice of colours for this creation.
Each of our skeins is unique, although reproducible: the recipes are carefully recorded. However, there will always be differences from one bath to another. If you order several skeins of the same colour, we recommend that you alternate them as you work.
Even though most of our woollen yarns have undergone a SuperWash treatment, we recommend that you hand wash your work cold. It's perfectly normal for some colours to bleed slightly the first time, so leave to dry flat.
