This color is inspired by Marie-Antoinette's shimmering wardrobe. More than fifteen pigments were used for this refined yarn, followed by a patina giving it the soft tone of an antique silk. It features the vivid blue of royalty, the powder pink of the Queen's favorite color, emerald, anise and lime greens, the purple and gold of embroidery, the almost jet navy of velvet, and the vanilla hue of lace. Sumptuous, rich pastels.
Each of our skeins is unique, although reproducible: the recipes are carefully recorded. However, there will always be differences from one bath to another. If you order several skeins of the same colour, we recommend that you alternate them as you work.
Even though most of our woollen yarns have undergone a SuperWash treatment, we recommend that you hand wash your work cold. It's perfectly normal for some colours to bleed slightly the first time, so leave to dry flat.
