It's a powdery pastel inspired by a Kilim cushion brought back from Istanbul. It strikes a fine balance between a golden hue and a pearl grey, but as the work progresses, it is punctuated by touches of havana, turquoise, khaki, lime, saffron yellow and almond green. It's a false pastel, rich in an infinite number of shades, giving it a harmonious, sophisticated tweed look.
Each of our skeins is unique, although reproducible: the recipes are carefully recorded. However, there will always be differences from one bath to another. If you order several skeins of the same colour, we recommend that you alternate them as you work.
Even though most of our woollen yarns have undergone a SuperWash treatment, we recommend that you hand wash your work cold. It's perfectly normal for some colours to bleed slightly the first time, so leave to dry flat.
